Crews tackle fire at Shrewsbury Co-op store

Emergency services were called to a Shrewsbury convenience store today after a fridge unit caught fire.

Two fire engines from Shrewsbury went to the Co-op in Mount Pleasant Road at 11.54am.

The fire was confined to a small industrial fridge unit and crews used a CO2 extinguisher along with a thermal imaging camera and small gear to deal with the incident.
