Driver suffers back injury as crash closes A41 near Newport
A driver suffered a back injury in a two-car crash which closed the A41 near Newport.

It happened close to Great Chatwell and saw the road closed for over an hour.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to the road, close to Damson Lane in Weston Heath at 11.27am.
A community first responder and the Midlands Air Ambulance attended, but the helicopter left without needing to transport any patients, although the land ambulance remained on scene.
The road reopened just before 1pm
