Investigations continue into Whitchurch death collision
Police have said they are not appealing for any witnesses after a motorcyclist and pedestrian were killed in a collision.
The road was closed between Whitchurch and Broughall while an investigation was launched by police.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a call from North West Ambulance Service reporting the collision just before 3.30pm.
A community paramedic, a paramedic area support officer and two Midlands Air Ambulances from Strensham and Cosford were sent to the scene. One of the helicopters had a trauma doctor on board.
The road was closed after the collision and re-opened about seven hours later.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The road was re-opened at approximately 10pm on Tuesday night.
"The two individuals involved haven't yet been formally identified.
"We aren't looking to appeal for witnesses at this time."
