The coach stopped on the A5 near Cluddley, in Telford, because of a fire on its rear wheel caused by overheating brakes.

Crews were sent from Shrewsbury and Wellington at about 5am on Friday morning.

The fire was out on arrival, but the firefighters used a hosereel jet and thermal imaging cameras to ensure that the rear wheels and axles were cooled. Police were also on the scene. They left about 30 minutes later.
