Meeting to air views on north Shropshire wind turbine plan
Villagers will have the chance to air their concerns over plans for a wind turbine in north Shropshire next week.
A public meeting has been called in Cockshutt, near Ellesmere, over the application for a 150ft (46m) turbine at Kenwick Lodge Farm in the village.
Three agents for the applicant will be at the meeting on Thursday to put forward their plans, the benefits of turbines and answer any questions.
John Dickin, chairman of Cockshutt cum Petton Parish Council, said the council called the meeting to give people a chance to learn more about it.
He said: "Not everyone in the village knows about the turbine so it is a fair chance to give everyone the opportunity to put their views forward."
The meeting will be at Cockshutt Millennium Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
