Two rescued from vehicle trapped in flood water near Newport
Two people had to be rescued after their vehicle became trapped in flood water near Newport.

The alarm was raised just before 2.14pm on Tuesday in a 999 call from Wilbrighton.
Crews from both Shropshire and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue went to the scene.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said a firefighters from Newport worked with colleagues from Staffordshire.
They successfully rescued two people from the vehicle in an operation lasting just over an hour.
