Fourteen plots of Shropshire land for sale at auction

Fourteen pieces of land north Shropshire will go on sale next month, some worth up to £120,000.

The land at Whitchurch, Whixall and Wem has been entered in Halls' property and land auction at the company's Battlefield headquarters on June 5, at 3pm.

Lots include a building plot and a parcel of sloping pastureland extending to 7.28 acres at Shrewsbury Street, Prees, which has a guide price of £100,000 to £120,000.

Valued at between £85,000 and £90,000 is 16.90 acres of permanent pastureland at Platt Lane, Whixall, while 8.07 acres of pastureland at Shawbury Road, Tilley, Wem has a guide price of £50,000 to £60,000.

A corrugated iron and timber garage and 2.39 acres of land at Rack Lane Garage, Whixall has a guide price of £15,000 to £18,000 while 5.60 acres of land accessed from the road leading to Hawkstone Hotel and Golf Course, Weston-under-Redcastle is expected to fetch between £35,000 and £40,000.

Two parcels of land on the edge of Fenns Moss National Nature Reserve, near Whitchurch, have guide prices of £20,000 and £2,000 to £3,000.

The other parcels of land in the auction are 8.70 acres at Dobson's Bridge, Whixall, 4.2 acres at Platt Lane, Whixall, 4.26 acres of permanent pasture at Maltkin Lane, Whixall, 2.03 acres of land at The Elms, Weston-under-Redcastle, two acres of land north of Holly House, Fenns Wood, Whixall, 0.59 of an acre at Whitchurch Road, Prees and 0.54 of an acre north of Whixall Social Centre.

The auction, which was originally scheduled for April, is attracting huge interest, according to auctioneers.
