The 218-acre Webscott Farm in Myddle, near Wem, has been put up for sale with the multi-million pound asking price and includes a five-bedroom farmhouse.

The site also includes a three-bedroom detached dormer bungalow, dairy and youngstock buildings, a herringbone parlour and grassland.

Chris Jones, head of rural agency at Berrys, said: "Webscott Farm is an outstanding dairy farm situated in a noted Shropshire agricultural area that has been farmed to a high standard.

"The farm buildings are both traditional and modern, providing dairy and young stock accommodation all of which are well positioned ensuring ease of stock management."

He added: "The land presently is all laid to grass but is also suitable for arable cultivation.

"The land is extremely well-fenced and easily accessed via an excellent central farm track reaching the furthest sections of the holding.

"There is also extensive road frontage and water troughs throughout, enabling complete grazing versatility."

The farmhouse extends to about 3,500 square foot and has a large kitchen, three reception rooms, a cellar, five bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are about 218 acres of land attached to the farm and most of the fields are accessible from the internal farm track or from the road.

The land has been comprehensively drained over the years and the grass swards are in good order. The soil is a medium loam, ploughable and some fields have successfully grown maize.

Mr Jones said: "We are delighted to be able to offer this outstanding farm for sale and we are expecting a great deal of interest locally and from farmers further afield."
