A substantial block of productive agricultural land is on the market in South Shropshire through Davis Meade Property Consultants.
Extending in all to 158.46 acres (64.12 hectares) or thereabouts, the land at Little Brampton, Clunbury, Craven Arms is for sale by informal tender in two lots with a guide price of £7,000 to £8,000 per acre. Tenders close on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 12 noon.
Conveniently situated either side of the B4385 some 1.5 and 4.5 miles from Clunbury and Craven Arms respectively the land comprises:
Lot 1: A valuable block of arable and permanent pasture in 118.90 acres (48.11hectares) approximately.
Lot 2-: Heavy yielding arable land in 39.56 acres (16.01 hectares) or thereabouts
“We are delighted to be offering this land for sale and are anticipating firm interest as parcels of this quality rarely comes to the market in the area,” said Eifion Bibby who is handling the sale from the Colwyn Bay office of DMPC.
The freehold land is split into two lots, one each side of the road, and is currently being used to grow arable crops and grass,” said Eifion.
Lot 1 extends to 118.90 acres (48.1 ha) or thereabouts with roadside access from the B4368 & B4385 and abuts in part the River Kemp. The land is chiefly Grade 2 and 3, currently under winter wheat, oilseed rape, fodder beet and permanent pasture which is principally encompassed by hedge and fence perimeters.
Lot 2 is a useful block of Grade 2 arable land currently containing winter barley and peas in 39.56 acres (16.01 ha) approximately with road front access from the B4385 and bounded in the main by hedge or fence.
