Join RVT at grassland demonstration events
John Deere dealers Rea Valley Tractors is organising a series of grassland demonstration days this June. Visitors will be able to test drive the latest balers, tractors and mowers from John Deere as well as equipment from Tanco, Joskin, Fella (Welshpool event) and Kverneland (Ashbourne event).
The first event takes place on Thursday June 15 at Lower Leighton Farm, Welshpool SY21 8HG by kind permission of Maurice and Fraser Jones.
Machines will be transported overnight to reach the second event which will take place on Friday, June 16 at Park House Farm, Ashbourne (demonstration field postcode is DE6 2DP) By kind permission of TW Kent & Co.
Models available for demonstration will include:
• John Deere F440R round baler
• The new John Deere C441R and C440R combination baler
• John Deere 131 and 331 mower conditioners
• Range of John Deere tractors
• Tanco 1400 trailed and S200 telehandler mounted bale wrappers
• Grassland equipment such as rakes and toppers from Joskin, Fella (Welshpool event) and Kverneland (Ashbourne event).
Both events will run from 9am until 3pm with light refreshments available. There will also be a display of used machinery and RVT's precision farming team will be on hand to answer any questions, as well as experts from John Deere.
