The group is marking the anniversary this year with a luncheon at Greenhous West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury at noon on May 27, following the annual Shropshire County Show.

The organisation is reaching out to members past and present to join in the celebrations, and to reminisce and share memories about past achievements, catch up with old friends, and hear from the current YFC generation.

Tickets are £25 per person to include a two-course meal.

Shropshire YFC currently has over 900 members, making it one of the largest counties nationally with clubs from all corners of the county, from Cleobury Mortimer in the south to Whitchurch in the north.

Tickets are available through contacting the county office, located at Halls' livestock market, on 01743 442880 or at admin@sfyfc.org.uk.
