Tough year has hit membership
What a fantastic past few months Shropshire YFC have had.
The current lockdown hasn’t fazed our members at all. Our annual speaking competitions were adapted for the virtual screen and went off without a hitch – there are some seriously talented young people in Shropshire!
We would like to thank all our judges for giving up their time and joining us for the past few months, your support is really appreciated.
Along with the rest of the country, we are so looking forward to the easing of restrictions and being able to see others again. It has been a tough 12 months, and as resilient as we have been, our membership has suffered.
While we proceed with caution and everyone’s safety in mind, we are hoping with the new road map out of lockdown and a bit of summer sun on our backs that our membership numbers may thrive again as we can start to enjoy all things YFC.
