Family business, Weaving Machinery, has launched several new products and innovations over the past five years, with widespread recognition.

The business was awarded gold at the LAMMA Innovation Awards 2025, announced last week for their Sabre Drill – one of the UK’s best-selling agricultural drills.

Adding to their success, the business was also awarded Silver within the Arable Establishment of the Year award category for the cast roller used within its Subdisc.

Weaving Machinery was founded in 1983 by Edward Weaving, and brother and sister team Simon and Sarie Weaving are now at the helm. The business has a clear vision – to offer farmers high-quality agricultural machinery that is effective yet simple to operate.

Simon Weaving, director at Weaving Machinery, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by the LAMMA Innovation Awards for the product developments we have achieved at Weaving in recent years.

“We are always looking ways to improve the results our customers can achieve with our machinery, and it’s great that our innovation and the hard work of our team has been recognised outside of our business.”
