Play area plan at Telford hospice
Plans have been submitted to build a new play area at Severn Hospice in Telford.
The hospice has put forward the proposals for a new play area that can be used by families visiting relatives.
A design and access statement submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council with the plans says that currently the hospice, which gives care to people living with an incurable illness, has few facilities for young children.
It is hoped that the new play area will give young visitors something new to enjoy.
There will be a number of fixed play equipment, set on a safety surface.
The plans were submitted on Monday and will be decided by the council in the coming weeks.
