Air ambulance called to Chelmarsh Reservoir rescue drama
Emergency crews were called to a reservoir near Bridgnorth after reports that someone was in the water.
An air ambulance was scrambled to Chelmarsh Reservoir, between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, at about 1pm on Monday.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service stated: "Casualty out of water on arrival of fire service. Crews assisted paramedics to carry casualty to air ambulance."
The brigade sent five vehicles including an incident support unit and the water rescue unit based at Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury along with an operations officer.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police also attended.
The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
