Woman taken to hospital after car overturns in Shropshire
A woman was hurt when a car left a Shropshire road and overturned before coming to rest in a field.
The crash happened on the A483 junction with the B5069 at Sweeney near Llynclys, near Oswestry, shortly before 3.10pm on Sunday.
The driver, aged in her 20s, has not been named.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson Jordan Eggington said: "We were called by police at 3.22pm on Sunday to a single vehicle rollover on the A483 from Llynclys Hall Junction.
"We sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene. Crews treated one patient, a woman, for minor injuries and she was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service sent crews including the rescue tender from Oswestry, Wellington, and an operations officer to the scene. West Mercia Police also attended.
No other vehicles were involved.
West Mercia Police said officers arrived at the scene to find a vehicle overturned in a nearby field.
