Help for those in need from Shropshire charities service
People finding life difficult can seek support from a service being run by four Shropshire charities.
The Thrive Partnership, run by the Stay, YMCA, Maninplace and Kip@Maninplace charities, is offering help to anybody from Telford & Wrekin aged 16 or over with support needs.
After an initial assessment, the partnership draws up a support plan, pointing people in the direction of the help that is available to them.
Kay Bennett, of the Stay charity, said that some people would need one-off help, while for others a longer-term plan of up to six months was available.
She said as a result of the pandemic, much of the help was now accessed by telephone or messaging services, although face-to-face support was still available where necessary.
Miss Bennett said help with housing, jobs benefits and improving skills was among the support available.
