Covid cases prompt temporary court closure
Deep cleaning has been carried out at Telford Magistrates Court after it was closed following reports of coronavirus cases.
The justice centre was closed briefly on Monday morning, but was later reopened.
A Ministry of Justice spokesman told the Shropshire Star: "The court is open. This morning it had to undergo what was essentially a deep clean across the whole building.
"It was reopened at 2pm.
"There was a small number of positive coronavirus tests and the people involved were identified and that prompted a closure of the court. There was no disruption caused."
