Three more coronavirus deaths at Shropshire's hospitals
Three more hospital patients have died with coronavirus in Shropshire.
NHS England said today that all three people had died while in the care of Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).
Yesterday four deaths were reported at the trust.
A total of 515 people have now died with Covid-19 at the county's hospital trusts – 479 at SaTH, 30 at Shropshire Community Health Trust, and six at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital near Oswestry.
Latest reported figures show that there have also been a total of 257 care home deaths in the county – 190 in the Shropshire Council area, and 67 in Telford & Wrekin.
Office for National Statistics figures also show that 201 people have died from the virus in the Powys area.
