Further 14 coronavirus deaths in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin
A further 14 people have died with coronavirus in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, new figures show.
Latest figures from NHS England show three patients died in the care of Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, and one patient died in the care of Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust.
It brings the death toll of coronavirus patients at NHS trusts in the county to 544 since the start of the pandemic.
In Powys, 217 people are thought to have died after contracting the disease.
There have also been a further seven coronavirus-related deaths at care homes in Shropshire and three more at care homes in Telford and Wrekin, according to new data from the Office for National Statistics.
It means there has now been a total of 278 coronavirus deaths at care homes in the county.
