No new Covid deaths at Shropshire hospitals for 21 days
No new Covid-related deaths have been reported in Shropshire's hospitals this weekend.
It means there have been no Covid deaths reported at Shropshire hospitals for 21 days – the most recent was on March 21.
In Shropshire the current Covid death toll at county NHS trusts remains 595 – 554 at SaTH, 34 at Shropshire Community Health Trust, and seven at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital near Oswestry.
According to the ONS, 296 people have died in county care homes with Covid – 219 in the Shropshire Council area, and 77 in the Telford & Wrekin Council area.
