No new Covid deaths reported in Shropshire
No new Covid deaths were reported in Shropshire's hospitals today.
Across the UK, 38 new deaths were reported within 28 days of the patients returning a positive Covid-19 test.
Of those, 34 were in England, three were in Scotland and one was in Northern Ireland – there were no new deaths reported in Wales.
According to the Office for National Statistics, 265 people have died in neighbouring Powys over the course of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the latest Government data said that more than 40 million Covid vaccinations have been administered in the UK.
As of April 13, the number of first doses given was 32,326,604, and second doses amounted to 8,170,081.
