Clare Spalding worked for 25 years in NHS nursing and midwifery, before setting up her own clinic in Shrewsbury at The Parade Shops.

Forever Young, which focuses on aesthetic medicine and wellness, was launched earlier this year and has since been highly revered by patients and customers across Shrewsbury and beyond who have hailed Claire as ‘one of the best nurses in the UK’.

She has also been running a domestic abuse support service for the last four years, where she has counselled hundreds of abuse survivors and also rectified physical wounds and scars at no cost to the victims.

Clare has been nominated to receive the inspirational person of the year award and the award for best aesthetic nurse.

The prestigious London based awards event called The Diamond Awards is organised by The Safety in Beauty Organisation.

The winners will be announced in London on December 4 during a live ceremony and gala ball at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park.

The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards, established in 2013, are dedicated to paying special tribute to the many outstanding business services, professionals, and brands in the beauty and aesthetics industry.

The awards highlight those going the extra mile for their customers and patients, and those in the pursuit of the highest standards of safety and excellence in an industry frustratingly tainted by the rogue minority.

The campaign founder Antonia Mariconda said: “Our wish is to celebrate those that are either enhancing, empowering or educating the public in the most positive ways.

"After such a challenging year due to Covid-19, we will be sharing powerful transformations and inspiring real life tales of tenacious kindness, dedication and support in the industry and beyond."
