No more county Covid deaths, but national toll rises by 18
There have been no further coronavirus deaths in Shropshire’s hospitals, but the UK death toll has risen by 18 to 128,066.

It means the death toll at county hospitals remains at 597. There have been 78 coronavirus-related deaths at Telford & Wrekin care homes since the start of the pandemic. In Shropshire’s care homes there have been 221. Latest data from the Office for National Statistics says there have been 272 deaths in Powys.
Government statistics show that a total of 75,963,777 Covid jabs have now been given in the UK, including 43,877,861 first doses and 32,085,916 second doses.
