This is Telford Orchestra at a 1954 concert. But obviously it cannot have been called that at the time, as there was no place called Telford until 1968. What we can say then is it is the orchestra which was was founded in 1862 as St Georges and District Orchestra Society and has had several name changes since, becoming Telford Orchestra in 1999.
