Here's the line-up for the 1952 Miss Shrewsbury competition, with the winner, Miss Mary Smith, on the left. This picture is from the Geoff Charles Collection held at the National Library of Wales - Geoff Charles was a photographer with a career spanning decades who did a lot of work in Shropshire. The location is not recorded but may have been somewhere like the Music Hall.
