Some of the greats of athletics, the likes of Seb Coe, performed here, at Cosford indoor arena. The original caption to this photo was: "January 1982. A view of the indoor stadium, RAF Cosford, with the new track and lighting clearly visible." The last top class event there was in February 1991 and the last meet of all was the British veterans' championships in March 1993.
