Pictures From The Past - April 20Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Apr 20, 2018 Comments"Llanymynech Stations from Old Railway," is the caption printed on this old postcard from the collection of Ray Farlow of Bridgnorth. The franking date is too faint to read but the postcard was produced by Park of Newtown, who did a lot of work in the Edwardian period. The postcard was addressed to "Miss O. Hilton, 25 Redver St, Oldham, Lanc." and the message was: "c/o Mrs Jones, Rose Villa, The Wern, Llanymynech. My Dear Cousin Olive, We are having a fine time and the weather is beautiful. Been wading in the river near to auntie's house. With love from Cousin Alice."
