A diesel pulls up at a very dilapidated Jackfield Halt in the Ironbridge Gorge. The photo looks to have been taken shortly before the line closed for good. The last passenger train on the Severn Valley Railway from Bridgnorth to Shrewsbury ran on September 7, 1963. The picture comes from Paul France of Madeley, who says he was given it by a friend some years ago.
