Pictures From The Past – November 9Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Nov 9, 2018 CommentsFor you, Tommy, the war starts here. And it really did, because Prees Heath was turned into a vast Army camp for thousands of soldiers during the Great War. This postcard showing the huts going up comes from Bridgnorth postcard collector Ray Farlow. Work on the camp started at the end of 1914, so the picture is perhaps from early 1915 based on how much has been done.
