Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.

Staff at the Grand cinema, Wellington, at Christmas 1959. They are Pat Turner, Pat Chatham, Anne Weaver (manageress), Hilda Jones, and Elsie Royale. This picture is from the collection of the late Fred Brown, a local cinema historian, and was loaned by his daughter Mrs Lynne Purcell. Fred was the last projectionist at the Grand until its closure as a cinema in the 1970s.
