If you do, many congratulations on being officially the oldest person in the entire world, as the building was demolished around 1860, and it means you must therefore be something like 170. This picture is from the collection of the renowned Newport local historian Malcolm Miles, who died last year. To the left is Newport's old butter cross, which was demolished around the same time as the town hall.
