Today we celebrate VE Day, the end of the war in Europe. But victory came at a cost. This is the 2005 service to commemorate the 60th anniversary, held at St Mary's Church in Ellesmere, organised by the Royal British Legion. During the sounding of the Last Post, the standard bearers lower their flags.
