Pictures From The Archive – October 16Welcome to this week's collection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Oct 16, 2020These two unidentified workmen were busy on October 22, 1971, restoring the face and fingers of a tower clock at the famous Whitchurch clock firm of J B Joyce and Co in Station Road. By this time the firm was part of the John Smith and Sons combine of Derby, and in 2012 the town said goodbye to Joyce when operations were centralised at Derby.
