Back in April 1968, when these Shropshire ironworkers' cottages were about 130 years old and in the news as they had just been listed as of special architectural or historic interest, they still housed many descendants of the original occupiers. The cottages at 3 to 17 Old Row, Horsehay, near the Horsehay Company's works, once housed tenants of the old Coalbrookdale Company.
