Pictures From The Archive – February 19Welcome to this week's selection of nostalgia photos from the pages of the Shropshire Star.By Toby NealPublished Feb 19, 2021Last updated Feb 19, 2021These are nurses at a hospital in Shropshire in the 1920s, although we're not sure where exactly. Fourth from right is Miss Gladys Deacy, whose niece Della Bailey originally loaned this picture. Nurse Deacy lived at various times at Kemberton and the Catholic House in Madeley. The back of the picture says it is at "Wantage House." Could that perhaps have been part of a hospital at Shifnal, Bridgnorth, or Shrewsbury?
