Now Telford & Wrekin Council has condensed the six-day effort into only 60 seconds in a new video.

The 230ft high crane is slowly put together over a number of days before the bridge is lifted into place.

The lift itself takes only a few seconds. Then it's back to the hard work of taking apart the crane.

The A442 through Telford, known locally as the EP, was shut in parts for six days while the work was done.

Dozens of enthusiasts turned out to see the bridge put into place, despite the fact it happened in the early hours of the morning.

Work started at around 1am with the railway line closed allowing the team to attach the crane to the bridge section.
