Staff at Severn Hospice are asking people to make a difference to their patients by buying tickets for the charity’s annual summer raffle.

Money raised from raffle ticket sales will help fund the care and support Severn Hospice provides to people across the region who are living with incurable illnesses.

Forty-three cash prizes will be given away in the draw on July 14, including a jackpot of £5,000 for one lucky winner.

Tickets are now on sale for the draw and the hospice has written to 25,500 homes urging people to take part.

Emma Wood, Severn Hospice’s associate director of fundraising, said: “Our weekly lottery and enhanced prize draws like our summer raffle are an essential source of income for Severn Hospice.

“People who buy a ticket for our raffle will not only be helping make a difference to local patients and their loved ones at their time of greatest need, but they will also be in with a chance of winning a cash prize just in time for the summer.”

Tickets, which cost £1 each, are available to buy online at www.severnhospice.org.uk/support-us/lottery/summerraffle2017 .

Alternatively people can buy tickets from any Severn Hospice shop, Severn Hospice reception desks, or by calling 01743 455319. The closing date for entries is July 7.

Players must be aged 16 or over.
