Sub zero temperatures see Shropshire shiver through the week
To snow or not to snow? That is a question many are asking as parts of the county are hit by flurries of the white stuff.
The county is shivering its way through a cold snap this week and snow was on the cards for today particularly in the Telford area.
But the new 'beast from the east' has so far brought none of the big accumulations of previous years, including February of 2018.

The Met Office has though warned that temperatures could drop as low as minus five degrees tomorrow and that the wind chill will make it feel considerably colder.
Forecasters say snow 'streamers' blown inland from the east coast will bring different amounts of snow, heavy in places but in other areas just flurries.
In Shrewsbury's Quarry yesterday only the hardy walkers and dog walkers braved the east wind, wrapped up in warm coats, hats and gloves.
And there was no sign of snow on the foothills above Oswestry, where families flocked to sledge last month,
Instead it has been the east of England, that missed out in January, that has seen the most snowfall this time.
There was the unusual sight of snow on the beach at Southend seafront and pier and other parts of Essex saw more snowfall brought in by Storm Darcy.
A vaccine centre at Clacton hospital had to close because of the conditions.
There were also snowy scenes in Norfolk.
The forecast for Shropshire says temperatures will hover around zero all week, with Wednesday the only sunny day.
The thermometer is expected to rise a little for next week's half term but is still not expected to go much about seven degrees.
