Ten-year-old girl freed from slatted chair by firefighters

A 10-year-old girl from Shrewsbury was rescued by the fire service after getting her arm caught in a chair.

A fire crew was sent from Baschurch

The child was freed by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) after the little girl became trapped in the "slatted chair" at her home in Squinter Pip Way.

SFRS said fire control got the call around 2.07pm and had the girl free 30 minutes later after a crew from Baschurch used small gear to cut her free.
