Car dragged out of flood near Albrighton
A car has had to be dragged from flood water in Albrighton.
Newport Road was closed to cars this morning after rainfall caused a dip in the road und er a bridge to flood.
PCSO Jacqui Fletcher said: "We closed the road this morning, earlier a car went through and broke down. If it stops raining hopefully the flood will be gone by later today, but if it carries on it'll keep flooding.
"People look at it and think it doesn't look that deep but the road dips and you can't see how deep it is.
"It's one of the main routes into Albrighton."
The road is now open to cars but police are asking drivers to be careful through the flood.
