Two treated for smoke inhalation after Bridgnorth fire
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a chimney fire in Bridgnorth.
Firefighters from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer were sent to a wooden chalet in Hampton Loade at about 6.40pm.
They used a hosereel jet, tools and a thermal imaging camera to fight the flames.
Further investigations revealed that the chimney fire had spread to an external cavity in the chalet.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance to treat the patients.
The fire service left the area at 7.44pm.
