Man injured after van hits tree in Bridgnorth crash

A man has been taken to hospital after a van crashed into a tree in Bridgnorth.

The crash happened on the B4363, in Oldbury, just after 10am on Friday.

The driver was taken to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford suffering minor injuries including a cut to his head.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the crash.

A recovery vehicle removed the wreckage before the road was fully opened.

Bridgnorth Safer Neighbourhood Team posted the incident on Twitter, posting: "Bridgnorth SNT on traffic control at an RTC on the B4363 Oldbury. Please drive carefully."
