Cricket club near Bridgnorth to open new ground
A cricket club near Bridgnorth is expecting to open its new ground this year.

Alveley Cricket Club has been given the go-ahead to use its new Four Oaks ground.
The ground has been developed over the past two years and the cricket square was laid 18 months ago.
The club has installed fencing, CCTV, improved access and tidied up the area.
Alveley Cricket Club chairman Richard Twigg said: "The Four Oaks Ground will be used for ladies, kids and adults cricket, providing a base for all of our teams.
"The ground enables the club to continue to grow and enhance its offering for the community. We have a number of events in the pipeline in what is a very exciting period in the club's history.
"During the last few years the club has struggled to access social facilities at the recreation ground, especially when the pavilion is used by other groups.
"The new ground will elevate this issue and provide a much-needed place for residents to use and enjoy throughout the year.
"As the club's junior section grows, we need to use the ground more often, having a second ground would enable us to play more matches in the future.
Asset
"Lots of work has already taken place, this has cost over £200,000 funded through grants, donations and club funds.
"Work has involved laying new drainage, fencing, hedgerows, converting an unused piece of land into a valuable community asset.
"The club has purchased a modular building that will enable us to use it until work starts on building the pavilion in 2020."
The club is also looking for volunteers to cut grass, trim hedges, look after the flowers or help with activities.
People who can spare time to help on April 6, between 9am and noon, are asked to call Richard on 07894 461299.
The club is also holding an enrolment evening on April 5 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm
There are opportunities for ages five and over.
Parents will be able to speak to coaches, ask any questions and see the club's plans for the future.
Registration is for both adults and children who are interested in playing for the club this year.
The evening will be held at Alveley Recreation Ground, in Daddlebrook Road.
