Villagers in Ditton Priors are planning a children's parade and tea in the pavilion. They have formed a committee to plan other events around the national celebration, which marks the Queen's 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne.
And people at Greenfields Court in Bridgnorth are hoping to combine the event with a fundraising effort benefitting the white ribbon appeal which raises money to help end male violence against women. Their event will take place on Wednesday June 1.
