Two fires in two hours on Severn Valley Railway embankment in Bridgnorth
Firefighters were called out three times to put out blazes on a railway embankment this weekend.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said there were two call-outs to Eardington Halt, Bridgnorth, a disused halt on the Severn Valley Railway on Saturday and a third on Sunday.
The fire service was called out at 2pm on Saturday bringing a 100 square metre blaze under control by 3.20pm only to return half an hour later. On Sunday crews responded to a third fire at Eardington just after 2pm.
