Crews tackle grass fires in Shropshire
Shropshire firefighters were kept busy on Sunday afternoon as they dealt with fires at grassland in Telford and near Bridgnorth.
The first happened on the embankment near to the Eardington station on the Severn Valley Railway.
A crew from Bridgnorth was called out at 2.20pm to deal with the fire, on an 80 metre square piece of grass,
Then, at 2.40pm, a crew from Telford went out to deal with a grass fire at Duce Drive, Dawley.
Both were quickly extinguished and the area made safe.
