A devilish bronze sculpture has gone on sale at a Shropshire antiques centre just in time for Halloween.

The ‘Devil Woman’ has just arrived at the Old Mill Antiques Centre in Mill Street, Bridgnorth.

Centre owner John Ridgway, who earlier this month appeared on TV's Salvage Hunters, says he has never seen a sculpture quite like it.

The 12inch statue depicts a woman with two devilish horns.

“This bronze is very different. We’ve had sculptures in before with devilish horns but never a woman,” said John. “She is quite spectacular and in perfect condition – and she would make a wonderful table decoration for a Halloween party!”

He said the ‘Devil Woman’ bronze statue is priced at £195, but there are a host of other gothic and ghoulish items also for sale at the antiques centre, from spooky Halloween posters to candelabras and even cast bronze skulls.

"If you are planning a Halloween party, we have all kinds of items that could help make your evening suitably spooky," said John.

The centre is open seven days a week, from 10am until 5pm.
