Two-year-old cocker spaniel, Henry, went missing from his home in Swancote, near Bridgnorth on November 20.

Almost one month on, there has been no sightings of the young dog despite drone searches and dozens of volunteers scouring the local area.

Henry's case was soon picked up by Beauty's Legacy, an animal search team charity, that helped create a Facebook group that has now attracted more than 1.9K members.

Lisa Dean, from the charity, said Henry's disappearance has devastated his 13-year-old human best friend, Sidney.

She said the only thing the teen has requested for Christmas this year, is the return of his beloved pup.

She said: "Two years ago Henry and Sidney met, and fell in love. Their bond was instant and they very quickly became totally dependant on each other.

"Henry completed the family, and is absolutely adored by them all, but to 13 year old Sidney, Henry is everything."

Lisa said they now believe Henry was stolen, is appealing for anyone with information to get in touch and said the family is offering a "substantial reward".

She added: "Please, if you know anything at all about Henry's disappearance or his whereabouts, please make that call.

"You can remain 100 per cent anonymous. The reward is yours if and when we find him. If you found him and fell in love with him, thank you for keeping him safe, but he needs to come home.

"If you were sold him in good faith, please return him, the family will reimburse you and pay you the reward, to bring him home to his best friend Sid.

"If there was an accident and Henry was injured, or worse, the family just need to know. We are not interested in naming and shaming. We just need to find Henry."

Henry has been described as block brown but with a little greying around his lips, he has a docked tail, is chipped and has a full DNA profile.

Any sightings of Henry should be reported to Lisa on 07866026343
