Crews tackle hedge fire in Much Wenlock
Fire crews were dispatched last night to deal with a hedge fire in Weston, Much Wenlock.
At 8.01pm on Friday, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a fire classified as Hedge Fire in Corvelands, Weston.
Approximately 30 metres of hedgerow and grassland was on fire.
One fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock. Crews used two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
